100NL: Top two in a limped pot
Villain is 59/24/1.65 over about 200 hands of 25 and 50nl. This hand occurred during a couple buy-in shot at NL100 for me.
I would think that his range must include worse two pair hands, 68, maybe bottom set or T8 (stretching). Anything else I would think he raises preflop. I also think it's possible but unlikely that he took a free flop with TT+. Preflop I limped in behind a fish, and right after I did I was thinking it might be better for me to raise and try to isolate vs. him as he folds to cbets when he misses. Not sure what I thought I could accomplish w/ a limp. PS: My stats are like 21/16/2.5 Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $130.85 Hero: $106.65 CO: $148.85 Button: $190 SB: $51.90 BB: $100 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, Hero calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB checks. Re: 100NL: Top two in a limped pot
would the bb check and take a flop with 55,77or99?
i def think villan is loose/bad enough to make this play with any two pair, maybe a 6 and maybe somehting like 56,69,97 or maybe just a 9. his raise is practically a min raise, i dunno what difference that makes. i think im gonna all in here but imnot too thrilled about it |

Re: 100NL: Top two in a limped pot
limp preflop? this is a clear fold.
i know villain has big donkey stats but it's very thin. if you're variance adverse fold (considering you stated you are taking a shot too!). i bet villain has set or straight a bit more than 50% of the time. |
