Questions re: LV Tournaments this weekend
I'm arriving in Vegas Sat 8am for the Rush concert at MGM Sat night @ 8pm and flying back out Sunday at 5pm.
I'm looking for advice on which MTTs or SNGs to play Sat morning/afternoon, overnight, and Sun morning/afternoon. I was hoping to play the noon Caesar's, but was wondering what time it normally completes. Would I make it to the concert if I go deep in the tourn? Here are the MTTs I'm considering, any input or tips on these or others (on the strip) I missed would be greatly appreciated: Morning/Afternoon: Flamingo 10:00 AM 60+15 Planet Ho 10:00 AM 60+17 Bally's 11:00 AM 80+15 TI 11:00 AM 60+10 Tropicana 11:00 AM 60+20 Paris 11:30 AM 65+15 Caesar's 12:00 PM 330+39 Saturday Late Night: Harrah's 11:30 PM 50+20 Paris 11:30 PM 65+15 Excalibur 12:00 AM 35+10 Paris 01:30 AM 65+15 Planet Ho 02:00 AM 60+17 TI 02:00 AM 60+10 |

Re: Questions re: LV Tournaments this weekend
allvegaspoker estimates caesar's noon tourney as 12 hrs. Since we are just after the WSOP, deep into that tourney probably means at least 7 or 8 hours if you make it deep. If the blind structure is 20 minutes then the tourney takes 4-5 hrs. If the blind structure is less than 20 than 2-3 hrs. 30 minute blinds are probably 5-6 hours to final table depending on antes and other factors.

Re: Questions re: LV Tournaments this weekend
Your numbers are off in every one of those.
The +'s are actualy included in the buy in. The way AVP is set up, if you click on details, it shows the Total Buy in, then the fees below it. Like PH shows 60 and 17 taken out. That's 43 back to the prize pool, not 60 to the prize pool and 17 taken. Same with Flamingo and the 60. The 60 is the total buy in price and the 15 is how much is taken out. |

Hence, "Total Buy-In". Duh. Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the clarification Photoc!

No problem at all. I know the database by heart as I'm the one who built it.

Re: Questions re: LV Tournaments this weekend
do yourself a favor, go downtown to binions, they have four tourneys daily. 70 buy in plus a 40 re-buy. start with 2000 chips plus re-buy is 1500. 20 min levels.
their tourneys are at 10am, 2pm, 8pm and 2am. also i think they have a 10,000 guarantee for the 2pm and 8pm tourney on fri and saturday |

Re: Questions re: LV Tournaments this weekend
You will enjoy the concert. I just saw them up here in Portland last weekend. They were as good as they always have been. Hope you also have a good time at the tables.
