Villain has been playing very passively, making minimum bets and raises after the flop. Most of the time they fold after this kind of bet is raised. I've only seen them make a solid (pot-sized) bet once.

Are you betting out here? Check-calling? Check-raising? Should I have raised the flop? (warhammer: note in the future to post your full ring hands in the full ring forum--aj) |

I would not raise the flop against a passive player. He will call and it will only put more money into the pot when you have no-pair. If his pfr < 5% I would check/fold this flop. The turn is a good card for you. Against calling stations I would just bet out ~0.5 pot on turn and river.

Normally I would be content to c/c down but you say he is very passive so I'd value bet the turn and river. If he raises our turn bet... uh?

[/ QUOTE ] just because he is passive it doesnt change that were are not in great shape agianst his range. I mean is he loose and passive or tight and passive? makes a big diffence IMO here passive players dont usually 3 bet preflop without a great hand |

Bet the flop and DEFINITELY bet the turn. [/ QUOTE ] Donk bet this flop? Seriously? Isn't that just asking to get raised? I would think a check-raise would a) have a much better chance of taking the pot away, and b) really tell me where I'm at. |
