3/6 2-7 2378K draw 1 or 2 multiway ?
6handed 3/6 button raises, SB calls, I have 2378K I 3 bet, both call.. do you always draw 1 hoping an 87 holds up multi-way if made ?

Either 3bet and draw 1 or call and draw 2. I 3bet and draw 1 because it's 3/6 so everyone is awful and easy to play against.

Anyone like 3 betting and taking 2? You can get some sweet metagame going with that move.

3betting and drawing 2 makes no sense at all.

Why not? 237 is probably ahead of the button and certainly ahead of the SB. I would probably take 1 here, but I actually like 3 betting and taking 2 more than calling and taking 2.

I see idiots doing this all the time, your really just tossing money into the pot with a hand that doesn't have the equity edge you think it has when your out of position. If the SB opened you would have a better argument for 3-betting with a 2 card draw (but then there is no way in hell you should break 2378x) 3-bet, draw one card is generally how I play here if the button is loose and agressive, if he is a tightwad then I call and draw 2. |
