Why and How
Why do you hit n' run? I mean, during each session I usually play (which can be 2-4 hours) I see at least 10 or more hit n' runners. It's so pathetic, there's no excuse for it besides your lack of confidence in your play style... I just had it happen to me 3 times in about 10 minutes, each time I pushed as a huge favorite. Now, I could care less about a bad beat, happens to me it seems every other few hands. However, if you're not good enough to stay and defend your skills then that's pathetic. WHY WHY WHY? If you play poker, than surely you're confident in your skills to win more, why leave??
Also, how do people cope with it. It's by far my worst pet peeve and really tilts me good. |

Re: Why and How
y do u care if they lack confidence in their playing style? it's like no big deal just variance
and f it, if they can win money hit & running, then by all means more power to them - it is by no means a viable means of long-term profit |

Re: Why and How
Never in B&M? I saw a guy one time sit in the 2-5nl for approx 7min 32sec. He caught pocket aces like 3rd hand in against pocket K's. ended up all in preflop. They held. He proceeded to stand up with his new found wealth and walk away. We were all like WTF, but what can you do but follow him outside and mug him...wait.

Re: Why and How
After I stack some donks, people at that table may be on to my tricks... so I find a fresh table. There's also that concept of protecting your winnings.
