Default NLTRN Adjustment to Minimum-Preflop-Raises

Hi guys!

First of all, sorry for my bad english! I'm from Germany. Please feel free to answer me, if you don't understand something.

I'm new to HU-NLTRN's and played 53 5,25 on Stars untill now. I have a 62% winrate. I'm pretty happy of the competition, but I like to improve my game quickly.

I generally have a problem to adjust my hand range (calling standards) for minimum-preflop-raises from the button. I saw a couple of opponents, who min-raises every hand from the button for the first few rounds.

On the on hand, they offer me relatively good 3-1 pot odds, but on the other hand I'm oop on all future streets.

How I have to weight these two arguments against each other?

I know, the answer pretend pretty much on the style from my opponent, but this play occurs often in the first few rounds. So I can't say if this opponent is thight and likes to get some action with his premium-hands or if he is only try to steal.

Against an unknown I mostly call - but fold my worst hands. If an opp does this constantly, I'll reraise a few times to try to get him to stop.

when the blinds get high it is good to play a tighter range against minraises than you would think.

If a player is very passive and slowplays top pair type hands and perhaps goes into calling mode with mid and bottom pairs, it is probably a good idea in the bigger blinds to call minraises with more drawing hands than you would normally. But this is a very specific situation.

Also I would look into things like how much of an edge do you feel you have postflop, albeit out of position, against the specific villain. That combined with his postflop style, aggressive or passive, generally are the main factors in how often I call a minraise PF. This is assuming I have an idea of the frequency of their minraises.

Often times I notice that frequent minraisers preflop will fold to a lot of 3-bets without a "struggle" or going into the tank. Take advantage of the players that do this, especially the ones that are more aggressive and harder to play postflop.
