Calling 4x raise from BB or SB vs 2 oponents with suited broadway?
I can't decide if I should be calling OOP ATs-AJs, JTs-KJs from BB and SB 4x raise if there is tight raiser and 1 caller.
Do I have the pot odds to call and make these hands profitable playing OOP vs tight raiser? |

yes, you often have pot odds. yes, you can get into alot of trouble doing this.
some of these hands will be +EV in the right spots and stack sizes. it depends on how tight the other people are, how they play postflop. is he gonna give you a cheap showdown, is he gonna give you freecards. AJs should be +EV as long as you don't go too nuts (6max i assume). you can also squeeze with these hands sometimes. i'd say you can call everynow and again to mix it up but don't get too attached to a 1 pair hand KJs not so good. JTs is a good hand to play here sometimes (plays better) sorry my post is not well structured but can't be arsed to do it properly |

I'm not fond of playing an these hands OOP. If I can limp or call a small raise, fine I'll play it but if somebody puts in a big raise...I'm gone. I've even been known to fold a decent Ace OOP but I'll play 8,5o on the button.
If I do hit the flop with it, I'll come out firing. |

I would acutally have no problem whatsoever folding all of these OOP vs. a tight raiser and a caller.
But...how about a re-pop instead of a call? This of course depends on the style of play of the caller - if he's a perpetual calling station, I probably just fold or limit my calling to AJs and maybe KQs. If he's capable of laying down a hand, and I haven't been going nuts with the 3-betting, I love a reraise here, much more than a flat call. |

depends so much on their post flop play ability

I think playing these hands agaisnt a decent player oop is gong to be to hard. I think that taking the 3-bet or fold line is probably best.
Although hands like KJ-JT I fold. Not worth the headache in trying to figure if my one pair hand is any good, or my flush is any good agasint a good agressive player. Just pick better spots. |

You're playing them for their draw making capabilities. So it doesn't make much of a difference if it's AJs or A2s here. With deep stacks, a loose caller, and not too much expected flop action, you call with all of these. Btw, how can you even think of folding JTs here unless the stacks are really short?
Also, how does the tight raiser react to rr+ Cbet? |
