Default 25NL 2nd Pair vs Agressive villain

the guy to my left has been reraising me almost 75% of the time i open. was this push dumb? My logic was to call the flop and take it away on the turn. If he had KK or QQ he most likely would have to lay it down.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($36.85)
Button ($23.20)

BB ($13.85)
Hero ($24.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.85</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $2.9</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls $2.05.

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP bets $5.25</font>, Hero calls $5.25.

Turn: ($16.65) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $16.35 (All-In)</font>, MP calls $16.35.

If he is 3 balliing you light 4 bet him light in which you could get a way from a shove though id put alot of thought cause i may call.
Check turn if it goes through call a less then sized river bet, if not id only call if ive seen him double barrel AIR once or twice otherwise let it go idaho

Ya it's dumb. It's tough to deal with getting 3bet a lot but a lot of the time the guy is hitting cards when you are and it's coincidental. Regardless, I'd be leaving table and taking my battered ego with where I can own. I've just moved up to 25NL this month, doing well, and one of the adjustments I've made to my game are getting away from -EV tables.

The only place to take this away from villain is either 4betting preflop(probably not a good idea because you're probably at best a coinflip and get called often) or trying to represent the A on the flop which is better but still iffy.

Folding preflop and leaving table is probably what I do.
