KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise
Getting Short. Is this a call or fold and find a better spot? Or should I push/fold pre-flop?

Re: KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise
Why not just shove?
Are we too deep with M ~ 7? |

Re: KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise
I agree with just shoving pre due to stack size and good position. Taking down the blinds without a fight here is good.
As played I'd always call here, too. |

I might open shove instead of just raising here but you gotta call here.

I absolutely open shove instead of just raising here but you gotta call here. [/ QUOTE ] While you're not upset if someone calls (I mean you're gonna CALL a shove, aren't you?,) you pick up some extra FE by open-shoving. Best-case scenario is to take it down uncontested, so go ahead and shove. |

Re: KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise
I would have open shoved, but as played you have to call the all in

Re: KQ Facing Button All-in Re-raise
question: what would you do with AA here with an M of 7? If you shove with KQ and make standard raise with AA surely that gives away too much info when you want someone to call and when you don't. if you open shove here then you should also shove with AA, which seems to donkish to me with an M of 7?
i no the people hu merit pushing are better than me so maybe you can explain? |

[/ QUOTE ] You shove with anything you are playing in this situation, and hope that you actually get called when you happen to be shoving with AA because people don't give you credit. The last thing you want to do is make a "normal" raise with AA because anybody with a brain cell will be suspicious. |
