Re: 100NL:TPGK + flush draw
looks fine. id say his range is AK, KQ, 33, QQ, KK. on the turn you are a coinflip against this range.

Re: 100NL:TPGK + flush draw
Would three betting the flop be a bad thing in this situation?

Re: 100NL:TPGK + flush draw
I really like 3betting flop to $55 and calling a shove. This will help you from polarizing your range in this spot and will probably result in him commiting himslef with a weaker draw in most spots.

[/ QUOTE ] I think this is a case where I would prefer to shove if I had 2nd or 3rd pair +fd vs top pair and fd. With 2nd or 3rd pair you are likely to have more outs if you 2 pair or trip up. Potentially if you are outkicked you only have flush outs with a weaker top pair. As hand is played out I think SB has kq. |

I would play the flop the same, but I would fold the turn.

I think he more likely has 33,KQ,K10,KJ A10s maybe suited connectors and Axs spades of some sort and a hint of air guess a chance of AK as well. The Turn card is intersting as it looks looks like its improved you hand but not sure if it actually has. In the heat of it I prob end up felting as well but the guy who mentioned folding the turn has an interesting point. |

[/ QUOTE ] that he's scared to put money in the middle? |

Re: 100NL:TPGK + flush draw
From his position you look like you're trying to steal and he probably doesn't like to give up pots so easily. I'd say his range is something like top-pairish hands (including AK), AsTs, 33, AA, kK/QQ (both unlikely). Against that range you have 53 percent equity on the flop. It's a small edge but an edge nonetheless so I'd say get it in.
EDIT: Since he is sooooo aggro this is probably a conservative estimate of his range. |
