($236T) QQ in level 2
20/40. UTG sucks. UTG+1 is z32fanatic. BB is a breakeven player over about 500 games, playing not too far above his comfort level. I haven't seen any of the play up to this point because I'm too retarded to fix my HUD before playing 9-max for the first time in a year.
Does anyone else not hate not pushing preflop? Pushing is clearly a good play, but I'm liking a flop in position here. I think z32fanatic's range when he calls like that is pretty small, maybe {TT,JJ,AKs,(50%)QQ}. The UTG raiser probably has a typical donkey range of about {77+,AJs+,AQo+}. Once BB pushes, I'm calling 100% there. His range gets pretty wide with all that dead money in the pot. No one overcalls here, do they? UTG (1500) UTG+1 (3090) MP1 (60) MP2 (1495) CO (3205) Hero (button) (1440) SB (1315) BB (1395) Dealt to Hero: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Preflop: UTG raises to t140, UTG+1 calls t140, MP1 calls all-in t60, MP2 folds, CO folds, Hero calls 140, SB folds, BB raises all-in to t1395, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls all-in. |

Re: ($236T) QQ in level 2
Looking at this hand, I have no idea what I had.
That said, I would just shove your QQ here, or raise pot, either one is fine. |

Re: ($236T) QQ in level 2
just calling seems bad. z32 never smooth calls a moron with AA/KK here so you are ahead of him, and fish utg's calling range is probably behind QQ, and his opening range certainly is. reraise here, and since getting over 1/3 of our stack in preflop leaves us awkward on the flop, i think just shoving (the play that seemed standard to you) is the best play
