3/6 - KK vs. AXX board. How\'s my plan?
Button is 96/11/.5 over a 30-ish hand sample. On one recent hand he cool called two in the SB with the hammer. (Offsuit, natch.) He hasn't shown a tendency for crazy aggression, but who knows?
SB is a crazy 40/30 LAG who is misplacing aggression all over the place. His agg factor is around 5 over a 200 hand sample. Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Button calls, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls. Flop: (9 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, SB folds, Hero folds. Final Pot: 7.50 BB My plan was raise F, bet T, check R. Or, well, muck to 3-bet. -Brian |

Hmmmmmm, I dont know whether a call/call/call line would be better here. Heads up vs a LAG I would do it. But with the other player I dont know.
What is clear is that its an easy fold to the 3bet |

Re: 3/6 - KK vs. AXX board. How\'s my plan?
My original thought (and my thought in the moment) is that I hated calling because there was a 3rd guy in the hand. But, if he doesn't have an A or a 9 or a flush draw, that plan kinda sucks because he's drawing to runner two pair, 2 outs, or drawing dead. And he won't be folding any hand we don't beat badly. So we don't really mind if he calls unless he has a flush draw, in which case he's not folding anyhow.
Maybe calling it down looks good? I guess the only other bad thing is that we'd hate to be the 3rd overcaller, because then we're surely beat -- but because of our relative position in the hand, it'll be hard to tell if he's drawing or if one of the two have an ace. Anyhow, yeah, the 3bet fold was clear. -Brian |

he's drawing to runner two pair [/ QUOTE ] He can't out draw you with runner-runner two pair. I would just call-call-call and it wouldn't take much from BT to get me out. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I think that's a better plan. Guessing on how this would play out, I'd call SBs bet, BTN would raise, SB would call, and I would drop. Maybe peel if I had K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. -Brian |

After the SB folds, I'm calling down any non diamond here. Then again, i'm a fish.
