Few limpers and i have QJ on the button. Not a great hand but worth the limp with position, no? Flop comes QJ9, checked to me and i bet 3/4 of the pot and SB check mini raises me. Strong move, so imo he either flopped a straight, set, pair with a draw, or worse two pair. Correct play here would be? Turn is 5 and he leads for half a pot. My move? I called. River is 7 and he leads again for half a pot. Easy call, bad call? |

Are the stacks deep enough that you can reraise the flop and get away from it if he pushes?

We are both at full buyins. Problem with reraising is if he calls I inflated the pot and still dont know where I stand.
p.s.: but yes, if I raised and he pushed I could get away from it |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah but if the stacks were deep enough you could get away from it on the turn if he led big (or if he pushed on the flop) As it stands I think you have to call it down. In either case make a note of what he bets this way with and try to exploit it in the future. |

Here is the thing.....Why not Raise the hand so that the SB and BB fold and your faced with a MP/LP limper? That way you would C/B the flop and most likely take down the pot?

maybe.
call. call. river is player dependent, sometimes call, sometimes fold. |
