Best book for poker feel
I play mainly small no-limit tournaments with friends. I've read and put into practice many of the strategies from HOH etc in these tourneys and I rarely win. Most ppl in these games play pretty tight (passive or aggr) but one friend plays more LAG and wins much more than the rest of us do.
My question is: This LAG friend appears to play by feel as I'm almost positive that he has never read a poker book (he doesn't need to apparently). I feel that most of the books I've read sometimes put me at a disadvantage in these tourneys as I need to play more LAG. SO, I own many books with more LAG play-little green book, Lindgren's book, Killphil. Is one of these books the answer? Can a book help me develop a better LAG feel rather than just strict application? Thanks. |

Re: Best book for poker feel
if the players in your game are weak tight, then raise a bunch of limpers, take the pot hu with position, take the pot down on the flop.
Read hoh vol 2 for short stack play as this is massively important, and is the number one thing that seperates the good from the bad |
