Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
This could be the saving grace of the ps3.
I wonder how far you can take the 'having people over to watch videos' thing? (like would it support full tv shows/movies?) http://kotaku.com/gaming/clips/gdc07...ome-242341.php |

Re: Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
It looks like MySpace (customizable social networking) meets The Sims (aesthetically) meets iTunes (downloadable content) meets YouTube (ability for users to create their own content and share it with other users in the community).
Am I wrong? |

Re: Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
The key factor is how smooth of an experience it turns out to be. Still, it looks nice and seems like a good idea. I doubt it's going to make anyone buy a PS3 who hadn't already intended to, but it is a nice service to offer those who have.

Re: Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
lol at "infinitely more exciting than anything you have ever seen on any other console". With that being said it looks like I will need a ps3 in addition to my Wii.
Need to move up in stakes ASAP! |

Re: Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
Quick reality check. Is this anything besides an MMO where you can't do anything besides 'decorate' and have cyber with ladyboys in aforementioned 'decorated' areas?

Re: Ps3 \'Home\' looks SICK
This is exactly like Second Life, which is already out there and has tons of users. Anyone with a computer can use Second Life, I wonder how many users this will get.
