i think pf is fine... i think flop is a vvv easy shove and i like your lead... unless you folded... then i hate it.

Re: Bodog 109, AQo in SB
I shove here because calling and leading the turn looks stronger than just shoving and because we don't want to let the turn check through.
If we shove we are also letting hearts (especially with an overcard) or 9T make a bad call that they might not be inclined to make after the flop. We are also going to get a call from KQ in this spot around half the time that he has it. In reality, I don't think that we are going to get many calls from hands that are worse than ours and I don't think that we are going to get any folds from hands better than ours (as the only hands that beat us are JJ/77/AA (discounted)/KK(discounted)/QJ(discounted) but I still think that shoving is the best play to take down this pot which would be significant to our stack and because we are in an awkward position playing this hand OOP after the flop |

Are there antes? I might just shove pf.

Re: Bodog 109, AQo in SB
With antes, shoving pf isn't unreasonable. If not I raise 800-900. As played Bet/3bet AI, you're ahead.

[ QUOTE ]
Are there antes? I might just shove pf. [/ QUOTE ] No antes yet. I'm always looking for good spots to shove preflop but I think I'm too deep for that to be best here. Good replies so far. So the concensus seems to be we're way ahead of Villain's range. Anyone have thoughts as to exactly what Villain's rage is here? |
