Re: 3 betting KQo OOP no good?
KQo is a pretty lame hand to 3-bet with. i prefer just calling or folding most times. i think you played it well postflop. in position, i dont mind calling with this hand to a raise.

Re: 3 betting KQo OOP no good?
He's raising a lot from position or just in general? And how is his play post-flop?
I don't know. It's hard for me to recommend a good play without much more information. I guess I could understand the QK raise preflop, but given my position I'd probably call. I would probably have bet the flop for more, to make drawing unprofitable and take the pot down, to invite raises rather than soft-playing from stronger hands, and to make me seem more "committed" to the pot thus making bluffs from aggressive players using position, less attractive. I tend to bet harder out of position with hands I don't want to go to the showdown with but I can't see myself getting away from easily. |

Re: 3 betting KQo OOP no good?
Why not b/f turn? Could easily be a float by villain?

Re: 3 betting KQo OOP no good?
True. If I were OP I would probably have also bet that turn.
The problem with that turn card is... that smaller bet sizes invite a raise while larger bet sizes give value to several possibly superior hands. |

Re: 3 betting KQo OOP no good?
Well I suppose if villain is awful he will call you with stuff like KTo, in which case I like it. If he isnīt awful he will fold stuff like KTo in which case you canīt really 3bet KQo for value.

Dude. Cmon now.
You are OOP and have the ultimate trap hand. Pick up your fork and dig into some foldarooni. |
