New Edition NLHE: T & P
There was a rumor a while back that the publishers or authors were going to make another printing of NLHE: T & P which would be errorless free. I know the typos/errors are minor, but still, are there any plans for this?

Re: New Edition NLHE: T & P
This is my veiw.
A new book is written. "x" number of copies are printed and distributed for sale. If during that time errors are found in the text they may revise the manuscript. However, I don't see them printing a revised (2nd edition) until the first printing has pretty much sold out and only if the publisher believes there is still a demand for the title. |

Re: New Edition NLHE: T & P
Id be suprised if it gets a second edition. Why would they when they have the two volume work coming in a couple of months? And Harrington. Why compete with those?
And let's face it, a lot of people across the forums say it is not very good (not that I'm good enough to know, yet). I mean Ed Miller says on his website that he didn't really grasp NL all that well until reading F & M's manuscript. Doesn't really fill me with confidence to give his prior work another few readings. I reckon my reading time would be better spent actually playing and reading/posting hands until the F & M 1st volume comes out. |
