Default zero calorie dip wtf?

last night when I was in the grocery store I noticed this stuff. wtf? obviously it cannot be zero calories, so I read the label thinking it was some rounding thing, like it would contain 1k servings of 0 calories apiece and actually 1 serving would have .002 cals or something, but it was only 2.5 servings. wtf?

WOW! Diet Coke has 0 calories too!

That dip's ingrediants include Sucralose...it's the same thing that makes all diet drinks have 0 calories as well. Not really as healthy as it seems...

LBJ: Actually >95% of diet drinks are sweetened with aspartame, which is worse than sucralose.

Sucralose = splenda, which studies have shown is safer than aspartame although some may argue that splenda is not all that safe.

Yeah you are correct. I get those mixed up, but really all the sweeteners are esstentially the same. They all sweeten the foods and make them look good since they seem to be good for you when they are essentially just as bad for you (and even worse if consumed in excess) than the real thing with all the calories.

The real difference between splenda and aspartame is that splenda doesn't taste horrible.

I'm sure it's overall safer than eating all that sugar would be

No way, aspartame kicks splenda's ass.
