those elimination blackjack tournaments they have on Ub and bet21? are they beatable?
or is it just a crapshoot, and it doesn't matter what strategy you use? |

They're beatable. There have been a few good posts and links in here to excellent tourney strat pages. A lot more people know how to play now compared to when UB first launched them, but there are still many idiots.

Beatable, yes. There's plenty of dead money.

![]() Just how beatable are they, and with what kind of variance? Anyone have a good strat link? |

A great BJT game is at Get21.com they have a lot of Free roll tournaments,
very low buy ins and they are just starting(2 months) therefore there are not too many players around so your chances are higher!!! The only problem they don't accept US players... BTW if you go inside their website you will find articles written by David Matthews inside "learns from the pros" |

Definately beatable, and most of the tournaments go off with an overlay, as well.

Skimmed over some of that strategy stuff, but what I'd really like to know is what kind of expectation a solid player has. Would a good blackjack SNG ROI be similar to a good hold em one? Do they take about the same time?

Well, I can tell you that over 150 rounds of the game, I advance at a rate of 140% of average. I've heard that the best ban really expect about 150% of average. I can't really translate that into an ROI for you, though, for the same reason that an ROI of multi-table tournaments are too prone to variance.
