multiple bankroll question
i have a strange hypothetical bankroll question:
lets say i have 1000$ on party poker and 1000$ on pokerstars. Now when i sit at a table of one site, must i consider my bakroll to be 1000$ or 2000$? so can i sit at a table for which bankroll managment rules say i need 2000$?n or only one that is low enough for 1000$? |

Re: multiple bankroll question
depend if you're ready to reload your account or not. 2k is enough for 100nl but if you have only 1k on the site and you play 6+ tables, you just need to loose 4 buy in (happens a lot) to not have enough to reload all your tables..

Re: multiple bankroll question
As you have said, your bankrolls are seperated, and so are their RoRs. Both are not dependent on each other.

Re: multiple bankroll question
when i sit at a table online i consider the money in my wallet to be part of my bankroll. saying you have more than one poker bankroll makes no sense

Re: multiple bankroll question
$2000. The reason being is it's not like the money is locked in at one place. If you lose $500 on party you can easily transfer that money over from Stars.
The only time they would figure to be independent of eachother is if for some reason the funds were locked in to one place and you could neither deposits in or out (highly unlikely. |

Re: multiple bankroll question
There isn't a "must" for one way of doing it or the other, my bigggest reccomendation is consistency. Treat them either as seperate or combined all the time. Don't sit down today and say to yourself "my stars and PP bankrolls are segregated" then make a transfer between one and the other tomorrow. Personally, i segregate my bankroll according to live play, online cash games, and online tournaments.
If youre playing the same games on both sites, i don't see any compelling reasons to segregate them though (unless its difficult for some reason to move money between one and the other). You'd certainly rather be playing 1 $2k br than two $1K bankrolls. [ QUOTE ] i have a strange hypothetical bankroll question: lets say i have 1000$ on party poker and 1000$ on pokerstars. Re: multiple bankroll question
I don't think that $2k is enough for $100NL, especially in a short stacked $1/$2 blind game. Shouldn't you have at least $3500-$4000 to play that game without worrying too much about short term variance?
