QQ for 3 bets
Commerce 20/40, pretty tough game. This table was looser than a tight table, but tighter than a loose table. Let's call it semi-loose and aggressive.
I've also been caught raising light a couple times I get Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the UTG+1, and I make it two. Solid player in hijack makes it three. A tight BB comes along, I don't cap. Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], rainbow, I made up the suits but it don't matter. Checked, I bet, late position raises, BB calls, I 3-bet, call and call. Turn is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, late position raises, BB folds. I grit my teeth and call. River is A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I check and call (?). Felt like a spew to me. I swear, my first thought on the flop was check and fold - my second instinct was, 'you pansy, get some bets out there'. |

Re: QQ for 3 bets
That's a bad flop for QQ to win unimproved behind a normal 3-betting range and a tight player's range for coldcalling 2 from the BB (AK/JJ/TT/99)

Re: QQ for 3 bets
I would not 3-bet the flop or bet the turn, but I'm more of a nit than most of these 2+2'ers.

Re: QQ for 3 bets
I don't understand the flop play. The K hits most of the range of hands you were ahead of PF. Your OESD is tainted by the odds you're chopping some of the time and other times your straight outs are in the hands of your opponents. Bet/3-bet is spewy. I'm check-calling to the river and c/f if I don't improve there.

Re: QQ for 3 bets
If I misclick didn't cap preflop I'd c/c, c/c and then think about the river and bet/call like a fish, I think c/c might be better here.

Re: QQ for 3 bets
cap pf, c/c flop.
As played, i will c/f river. after flop action, he still raise turn. That means he can beat trip k. he is solid play and 3bet pf from HJ. what does he have after flop/turn action, he has jj/tt/ak. |

Re: QQ for 3 bets
I don't mind the flop bet as much as the flop re-raise or the turn bet, although I think the check-call is better.
IMO,privatejoker's advice is right on,as usual. |
