Re: Balla Laptops
It was a joke based on your "brag" type post. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Dell laptops. Check out http://www.notebookreview.com/, for some reviews.

Re: Balla Laptops
and alienwares are just a waste of money.
brand doesn't matter all that much, except for their warranties, etc. so check into that with any laptop you buy. but other than that, it's what the laptop has in it that matters, so do as Dave has said and do some research! i mean, we could def. post some 5,000 Alienware laptop for you to waste your money on, but you could go buy the exact same thing for like 2,000 or less. |

Re: Balla Laptops
I personally do like Dell laptops but I also have nothing wrong with Compag/HP laptops either. I've had both. I agree with Goldtoes and say you should do some research and make sure you get an extended warranty. That is unless you're so loaded you can just buy another one or pay big $$ to get it fixed in a year if the screen breaks or the AC power jack gets a short in it.
I can't imagine what you'd really need on a laptop to justify spending over $2,000 including a 3 yr warranty.(unless you're maybe a gamer or graphics guy, but you probably wouldn't be posting here if you were) I spend 10+ hours a day on my new Dell laptop and do everything from poker, Photoshop, websurfing, DVD ripping/burning and everything in between and I only spend $1,150 shipped with a 3 yr warranty. Granted I waited awhile for the best deal but still, the latest greatest pocessor, 2 GB ofRAM, and a 256 MB video card isn't that expensive anymore. If you really aren't satisfied until you have a stupidly expesive laptop go to the manufacturer's website like Compaq, HP, Dell etc and find the most expensive base model and add every single option they offer. That is the way to get the most expensive laptop. Good luck. |
