plo 8, random one-way hand
2-4 plo 8. table's been getting a little frisky (due in part to my instigation), so the pf action doesn't imply so much (though I don't have a read on this guy yet...).
UTG I raise the pot ($14) with Kh Ks Ts Tc and $650. I expect to take most flops with a bet, win a big pot with a disguised hand, or give up after one stab (unless...). next to act reraises the pot to $48, with $1,400 (which he got before I sat). I call. As 8d Qs. I check, hoping he'll under bet a set of aces. he bets pot, $100. I'd love to peel of course, but there are two low cards and my draw is only decent, not great, and even if made might have to survive the FH redraw. somehow I see envision a low spade coming and playing a nail biter for half the pot. I didn't think of this point at the moment, but only five cards give me the scoop. who calls? edit: his numbers once I had a few hands were 53/7 pf. |

Re: plo 8, random one-way hand
how many people are there @ the table? I dont like calling the r/r here. There are very few cards that come on the turn that ur comfortable with and that he isnt redrawing to the whole pot with half the pot locked up. Ur hoping 5 cards on the turn. Any J or 9s, other than that u have no idea if ur getting any of this hand
