3-betting with 88
Button had been playing very LAGgy, like 60/25. BB was only at the table about 2 orbits and the only read I had on him was that he was loose.
I don't 3-bet light at all; actually I do it too infrequently where it's probably a leak. Comments on all streets welcome. Re: 3-betting with 88
Fold. You only have 77-33 beat. If you were deeper, you could think about a c/r AI, but you only have 60 behind.

Re: 3-betting with 88
I could see him floating if he caught any piece of the flop. Even a gutshot, but really, there is nothing on this board to call down with that doesn't have Hero beat. I guess calling down isn't bad because he is giving you great odds, and you see a retarded bluff enough, but I would fold.

Re: 3-betting with 88
1) Call this pf for set value against this LAG
2) Rserve 3-betting 88 for when youre *in* position 3) Dont float OOP, either fold or AI that flop. Now can someone better than me tell me if this advice is goot? |

Re: 3-betting with 88
After getting cold-called I like checking the flop. As played I fire the turn and pray for a fold.

The value from just calling is pretty high as you hit a disguised hand so you will get paid off. I think there is a lot of value to 88 just as a pair but OOP it will be a lot harder in a re-raised pot to find this out. Probably a lot more costly aswell. True |

Re: 3-betting with 88
O god, high variance is to just c/r and hope he is a donkey bluffing with QJs or some [censored] hand. Usually is this more than its AA-JJ(stupid QJs hand). Somtimes his hand iwll be TT-99.
It works sometimes...sometimes not. I hate these [censored] spots. h |
