My questions regard flop and turn, as preflop is standard I think we'll agree. Is it OK to call here for implied odds, plus the chance that the turn goes check-check and I think I can get him off high cards on the river with a bet? How much deeper would you need to be to make the call if you think this is a fold?

Once I hit my straight on the turn, what is the best way to get the money in? Remember, we are dealing with someone a sandwich short of a picnic here.
