100nl bodog - 99 oop vs a min raise preflop
this is within the first 3 orbits of the table. i have already reraised preflop twice in a row and open raised a few times. never played with any of these players before but i established myself as an aggressive player early. we both have 100bb stacks.
i open raise 99 (no diamond) up to $4 preflop from the CO+1, button miniraises up to $7. i just call. flop (14.50) comes 3d Jh 4d i check, villian bets pot very quickly, i call. turn is a black 7. i check, villian bets $23. i call. river ($70ish) is the jack of diamonds. i push. --------------------------- i think my line here is generally terrible. i had no idea where i stood on any street and bluff-shove the river. thoughts on flop/turn play especially. |

Re: 100nl bodog - 99 oop vs a min raise preflop
for what it's worth, you aren't pushing anyone off an over pair, especially at bodog.
I made a killing there overpushing rivers vs villains i saw as mega donks. There is no reason to be in past the turn. if you won thing had, congrats, but in my experiences at bodog, just play ABC and overpush rivers |

you think c/c flop, c/f turn is a good standard line? |

I like bet/fold flop. By c/c flop, you still have no clue where you stand and have to check the turn and allow him to bluff.
