Using Party Points for a Barbecue?
Maybe a long shot, but anyone ordered one of the propane barbecue's from Party's points store? I'm thinking of doing so and thought I'd check in to hear the usual Party horror stories before I did (i.e., receiving an aluminum pie pan with a duct-taped wire clothes hanger as handle, together with a box of matches, instead of the expected Q)?

Better hurry up and order..I'm sure PP's not going to stock up their inventory for a long looooong time.

Mainly because I have no other use for the points and I almost never play at Party now. Also, despite a personal bias for charcoal, a gas grill will find a home with my family. I'm reasonably sure Party doesn't keep any inventory of non-branded items (and doubt it keeps any inventory of branded items, though it probably issues binding orders for a run of X particular branded items), but anything to help the hysteria is welcome! |

If your order fails, get a metal shoping cart from any supermarket. Build a fire under it and BRQ most anything. |

Re: Using Party Points for a Barbecue?
After an enquiring email, I received my BBQ a week or so ago. It was as I hoped - a nice entry-level gas grill; sadly no longer available in the Party store, but I thought I ought to confirm that I was not let down by Party in this instance.
