Returning a car after a lease
I'm returning a car after a 42 month least next month. How strict are they during the inspection as to dings and scratches, and does anyone have an idea of how much, on average, it costs to return the car.
I know there's a $300 "disposition fee", but how much do they usually get you for on the little scratches and other things like that. I'm having a nightmare where they check out my car which is in great shape, and I get stuck with a bill for $2000 for nickel and dime stuff. |

Re: Returning a car after a lease
Every leasing company has their own policy regarding wear and tear, and every company is different as to how closely they follow that policy. Unfortunatly I have no experience with that bank so I can't help you there. Most Co's send out a termination package just before the lease is up so that you know what you can ecpect. Best thing to do is ask someone at the dealership you got the car at to find out how leinent they are. Otherwise expect the worst, and hope for the best.
