Hey all,
I'm a regular small stakes full ring player. I know that there are some specific parts in my game that I need to work on - specifically shorthanded/headsup situations and blind stealing/defense. So I'm thinking of starting to play a fair bit of shorthanded games online in the next little while to work on that. I was wondering if anyone can steer me towards any good books or other informational resources that are geared specifically towards shorthanded play, or have good shorthanded strategy sections. Thanks a lot for the help! |

If you want to learn how to play this game well, you should constantly read the shorthanded forums on this website. Here are some other links to websites that should help your shorthaned game: http://stoxpoker.com/ http://www.ericlindauer.com:8080/eric/poker.html http://www.beat6max.com/ |

2+2 magazine and http://www.notedpokerauthority.com/ are great resources. Getting sweated by a coach or a friend that has some 6m experience can be very helpful as well. In the end though, it's about experience. Just get through that first 10K hands and you'll be a lot better.
