Default 1/2 turn bluff

I've been trying to learn omaha recently, so expect some lame posts while I review hands and try to plug some leaks. Thanks in advance.

Opponent in this hand is quite loose and seems passive (small sample).

Is this a reasonable spot to bet the turn? If he folds, that's nice. If he raises, I'm gone. If he calls... bummer.

Also, how about the flop play? The more I look at that flop, the less I like it.

Turn bluff is good. If he calls, I would fire another bullet with a blank river as many players will call a turn bet with their sets.

Very nice play, if he was semi-bluffing with a weak flush draw he may even decide to lay it down now. It's very hard for an opponent to call with a set when 3 of a str8 flush is showing.

I agree, if you get called fire once more on the river because A)You may have the best hand, B)Your opponent seems passive, C)Better hands than yours may fold (e.g. str8 or weak flush).

Obviously if board pairs, check and be prepared to lay down to a raise.

re: flop

On a rainbow board, I'd lead out with a flop pot bet some of the time. In your situation with 4 players, I think a flop call is marginal - but I'm sure I'd call too since your opponent has plenty of money left.
