A small selection of sticky notes
So, I've been donking it up quite a bit the last few days. I'd like to say that it's just me playing around with different styles, etc., but that's not really true. I'm going to play more seriously for a while now, and try not to hose around too much. In order to help with this, I'm planning on putting a few choice stickies on my computer. These should help me play more ABC poker .. maybe even learn what ABC poker is. I think I've gotten too far away from it. Any suggestions ($25-$100NL, 6-max)?
- Big pots, big hands. DON'T BUILD A POT WITH TOP PAIR. - SLOW THE F DOWN. - Are you playing enough tables? |

These problems can usually be solved if you play >8 tables. [/ QUOTE ] I'm spending most of my time on Full Tilt on my Mac right now. I don't even know how to fit two tables on the screen without overlap. I'm OK with 4 tables and overlap, but I don't think I could handle it with more. Actually, I've never played more than 5 tables. Maybe I'll switch back to Party after I clear my bonus. I think I have too many leaks to play >8 tables, though! |

Don't float OOP [/ QUOTE ] I thought floating, by definition, meant that you were in position? |

remember the baluga theorem [/ QUOTE ] Like in this thread, right? I dunno .. I've been seeing those kind of raises a *lot* recently. I have a hard time believing it's always a big hand. Hmmn .. maybe this should be my plan, then: if I see villain doing that often, I can distrust it, but I should have a good amt. of evidence beforehand. And, when I do decide to distrust it, I'll probably go calling-station on the villain, rather than raising. |

Re: A small selection of sticky notes
no flaoting means calling with little to no draw
to take away later. |
