can i call the all-in here?
Opponent's first hand (on the next 50 hands i came to know him as a 70/35/3.11 ).
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) internettexasholdem.com BB ($42.98) UTG ($24.50) MP ($25) Hero ($24.73) Button ($54.24) SB ($37.30) Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $0.25. SB posts a blind of $0.10. 1 fold, MP (poster) raises to $0.75, Hero calls $1, 3 folds. Flop: ($2.35) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) MP bets $2, Hero raises to $6, MP calls $22 (All-In)... was i right to raise the flop here? and now that i'm getting 32 to 18 is that indeed a fold? (seems very close to me, but i'm splitting with a 7) tnx, matt |

Re: can i call the all-in here?
Since you don't have top pair and you also have an oesd I would have called and hoped to draw here, even though you may be a favorite.

Re: can i call the all-in here?
I like a fold here.
you are behind to an 8 or an overpair. A fd will outdraw you more often than not. I need some kind of read to call this tho if I hold 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I'm leaning towards calling. The session is still young and we will get plenty of better spots later to stack this villain. Folding here makes you seem a little weak to this villain and he may be more inclined to push at you later when you have a better idea of how he plays and what he might hold here. |
