Hey,
I've been playing PP off & on for years, casually, as a breka-even player, but I'm really starting to get my act together and am focused on getting profitable. So I was wondering, due to the massive PP crackdown on rakeback, what are some of the other good sites? Based on popularity & rakeback incentives. I tried wsex but the interface is so horrible, my connectivity was weak, and it was actually tough to find a game sometimes, since I'm euro-side. Thanks in advance. See ya out there. |

Full Tilt, Pokerroom skins and Prima (many skins) are places you may consider starting. UB and Absolute also have generous sign up bonuses and Absolute the bonus is not deducted and UB only 25% of it is.

Some of sites on the most popular rakeback friendly networks are:
Fulltilt, Eurobet, Ultimate Bet, Abosolute Poker, Sun Poker, Battlefield Poker, and Noble Poker. There are MANY Poker sites to choose from, and it is probably just best to try out these until you find one you would like. If you tell me more specific things you would like I could probably narrow down your search more. |

Well, all I play is 2/4 shorthanded, and im planning on trying to move up over the months/years at that. I've done lots of NL, and I'm not interested in it anymore. I'll probably be averaging 5k hands/week, since I work fulltime.
So, atm, I'm looking for fast, populous, and of course easy, SH games, at 2/4+. Thanks for the replies. |

I would check out the Pokerroom skins for short handed limit Holdem games. Eurobet and Hollywood are 2 of the most popular. Some Pokerroom skins don't allow public advertising so check with affiliates directly and see what offers are available.

chris,
The best advice is to setup accounts at several sites and checkout the players for yourself. This is really the only way you will know how your style of play works with the different types of opponents at each site. You can use Poker Site Scout to evaluate the tables at the limit & times you wish to play. Of course, you should signup thru the affiliates listed in the forum sticky and you might find this post helpful in evaluating them |

chris, You can use Poker Site Scout to evaluate the tables at the limit & times you wish to play. [/ QUOTE ] The numbers for Poker Scout seem low. The 24 hour peak for Party for example says about 16k. I thought it would be much higher than that. What am I missing or are the numbers off? Party says it has 64k+ online now - does that mean 50k players are not playing? |

2/4 at absolute is pretty decent. usually 2 tables shorthanded going, sometimes 3. nice signup bonus and the quality of play isn't all that great.
