Villain is sitting at two of my tables. He is putting up a little resistance, but not much.

Nice hand. But what's up with raising to $5 preflop from the SB with weak hands out of position? I'm not sure I understand that.

I dont like the river push but I like the rest. I dont think he folds the river 1/2 times

Re: River Poosh WITH A HIGH OMFGZ
Hmm... JT, JxK/Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], some weird two-pair hand (a lot of people would call with 36s with position for only $3 more).
My liking the river push has more to do with my general experience in bluffing the average 1/2 player... I find that a lot of time firing 1 and 2 barrels is roughly equivalent, and that they don't call 3-barrels nearly often enough to justify calling the first two. Basically, I think the first two barrels both fall under the "are you serious?" category, rather than 1 - "are you serious?" and 2 - "ok, I think you might be serious." Also, even if you were to 3-barrel everytime you 2-barreled they will not adjust. Plus, here a bluff is even more in your favor since some hands might have called with the sole intention of improving. Obviously this isn't a very rigorous analysis, it's just my personal experience. |

Re: River Poosh WITH A HIGH OMFGZ
i complete preflop. dont want to create a pot with A2.
dont like turn. pot is getting out of controle. what do you do on the river? push every non paired river? oh well, villian called an overbet on the turn --> good chance he calls the river. imo the most likely hand is a flopped set wich calls the river quite often to stack your black rockets. --> you played this very bad, but thats only the opinion of a newb. |

i complete preflop. dont want to create a pot with A2 [/ QUOTE ] well, it was three handed. i was raising this guys blind every time the button folded. [ QUOTE ] what do you do on the river? push every non paired river? [/ QUOTE ] yep. [ QUOTE ] --> you played this very bad, but thats only the opinion of a newb. [/ QUOTE ] fair enough, i posted the hand looking for comments. If I was certain this was a good play, I wouldn't post it. |
