If Fox News were really in the news business and not the "suck up to Republicans and fatten their own wallets" business they would accept those ads. Despite the position of the Justice Dept. that on-line poker violates the Wire Act, it doesn't, and that accepting ads for Poker sites is aiding and abetting, it isn't. As much as politicians love to bluster about other countries ignoring U.N. resolution, the U.S. has been utterly dismissive of the WTO ruling on this issue. There is also that First Amendment thing. But Fox News fears the Gestapo tactics of having those ad dollars siezed as was done to the Travel Channel. |
