I played college golf (div 1.) and you'd get 99% of them saying they couldn't carry 300yds (not carry+roll...pure carry). Even Tiger would be damn pleased if he could carry 300 yds + regularly. I find the better the player, the more honest and realistic they are. I would be very pleased if I consistently carried 270-280 with 10-15yds roll in normal conditions. The amount of 18 h'cappers who claim they can hit it 250+ cracks me up. Sure I can squeek out 300+ carry as can most pros but to hear so many peeps say they regularly hit it 300 yds. ROFL. I'm going to have to say "ROFL Let's go play and you can prove it to me".

I'd say that when I was playing full-time, I was probably ave. to slightly above average in distance. My yardages for club selection was as follows:
Driver: 285 3-Wood: 245 Driving Iron (Mizuno Hi-Fli: 230 3I: 220 4I: 208 5I: 195 6I: 182 7I: 168 8I: 156 9I: 142 PW: 130 SW: 112 Basically between 12-14 yds/Iron The amount of +18 h'cappers who've told me they can crank "the ooool' trusty 7I" 180yds plus cracks me up!

[/ QUOTE ] i normally carry it around 285-295 and my swing speed was 107-110 when i got fit for my driver a few months ago. btw, what college did you play at
