The site may be slow/down. It's a London Bridge radio ruck. Anyone looking for a military-style backpack can Google "3 day assault pack" and check out a bunch of options.

I think this is stylish. Not sure if it's suitable for your needs.

This isn't a sexy bag or anything...but I find myself seriously wanting one.

Countycomm is a great website. Actually, the website itself sucks, but they have all sorts of cool military overrun items, not the usual surplus stuff but crazy [censored] like mil-spec purell hand sanitizer (no longer there, unfortunately, but I got a bottle, it's just the regular purell in a olive drab bottle), tiny macguyver-esque pry bars, flashlights and all sorts of ballistic nylon bags, holsters, etc. And you won't find anything in any "feminine" colors, unlike some of the earlier suggestions in this thread. The biggest problem is that their inventory changes all the time, and a lot of items they only get one shipment of, and you never see them again.

Update -

I recently bought the Timbuk2 classic messenger. Mine is all black, though now I wish I would have chosen something more green or whatnot, since I just like green.

Anyway, back to the bag, I love it so far. I use it to carry documents, my lunch, glasses and keys, and maybe a book to read while on break at work. The main compartment is very wide, and you can just toss all of your stuff in there, or there is a zippered pouch if you would like to organize or compartmentalize your stuff more.

I have also used it while traveling, while on a four day trip to northern California. It fit all my clothes, not much since this involved outdoor work and I had no need to bring professional business wear, and my ipod/headphones, book, and 2 packs of sunflower seeds. It could have fit more, but not much probably. My size is a medium for reference.

Overall, I like it very much, both for its simplicity as well as flexibility. If you guys looking for a bag don't want it to be too "bike messenger" just get all black, it really helps IMO. Or if you want to trade, let me know and I will trade you my black one for a cool green color combo.

yello
