Green Day's DOokie is a great album. It starts out rocking hard and doesn't stop. It's not tiring either.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik is great as well.

I was also a huge fan of STP then. Their first 4 albums are all very good.

Pennywise has a few good songs, although they can get old very fast. Check out "Bro Hymn Tribute".

You can't have a thread like this without mentioning the Pixies. Get their album Doolittle or Surfer Rosa.

Also Elastica and the Breeders.

pixies technically formed in the late 80s but paved the way for nirvana and continued through to the early 90s and are definitely worth downloading.

a few that have been missed out are REM, skunk anansie, black rebel motorcycle club, ocean colour scene, stereophonics, manic street preachers and the prodigy
