All things considered, Burrell probably overreacted. The reporter wasn't his wife, so it's doubtful things would have gotten physical. [/ QUOTE ] OHHHHHHHH DAMMMMNNNN Seriously though, what a miserable loss. Gordon has been absoultely dreadful this year, and the Myers in the bullpen thing isn't really working either. |

Ya know this is the only Philly team I've been able to root for since moving to the area. Pretty standard for my teams I guess.

Re: ***Official 2007 Philadelphia Phillies Thread***
Its hard to root for this bunch when they choke every single year when it matters. And why people arent hating on Gillick more I have no idea, he did a terrible job this year.
I like Lohse and Iguchi tho. |

Are you talking about that or the signings last offseason? |

Re: ***Official 2007 Philadelphia Phillies Thread***
Yea, the offseason moves were terrible, and they did way too little at the deadline. He immediately adds Mesa, then doesnt add Troy Percival, not calling Coste up, just so many stupid things that could have made a big difference. More than anything not firing Manuel was the biggest mistake though.

Durbin should be in our rotation for the rest of the year.
Hamels, Kendrick, Lohse, Durbin, Moyer. [censored] Eaton. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I agree with that too. although if you're ranking the rotation in terms of strength, I'd give Lohse the edge over Kendrick. Eaton's got the ball tomorrow though. fingers crossed for another big offensive night from the Phils. edit: and how about that Chase Utley guy. |
