I can easily see LSU, Cal, BC, OSU, and USF all going undefeated

Imagine that f'ing insanity, 5 BCS conference champions all undefeated

Maybe Kansas can do it for the Big12 and make it a full fledged 6 way cluster fk.

[/ QUOTE ]

scenario is highly unlikely
LOL @ BC running the table

wouldn't be a cluster fk in any case

whoever goes undefeated just claims that forever

Is '94 Penn ST any less of a team because the AP voted Nebraska #1? I don't think so.

Who on Boston College schedule beats them right now? Va Tech? Clemson?

[/ QUOTE ]

about half their schedule beats them IMO

[/ QUOTE ]

You would know better than me, I guess I just really like the team this year and thought they were a head above the rest of the ACC.

What games do you have them as dogs in, just out of curiosity? Personally:

Sat, Oct 13 at Notre Dame--Favorite
Thu, Oct 25 at Virginia Tech--Dog
Sat, Nov 3 Florida State--Favorite
Sat, Nov 10 at Maryland--Favorite
Sat, Nov 17 at Clemson--Dog
Sat, Nov 24 Miami (FL)--Favorite

Thats in my opinion and I respectfully know nothing about the ACC.

Hopefully USF and BC will meet up in the title game while 1-loss LSU, Oklahoma, OSU, USC and Cal watch it on TV. The BCS is so F-d up.

[/ QUOTE ]

I feel like this would be the greatest thing ever. "Two Big East" schools going at it for the Nat'l title while the rest of the country bitches and moans. I'd enjoy it at least.

I voted LSU and Oklahoma

LSU has put together such a solid resume that they would be the top one-loss team as long as the one loss isn't in the SEC title game---gives them an edge

[/ QUOTE ]

Right, only big 12 teams can not win their conference and still advance to the BCS championship. That dang secret clause again! To nebraska's credit, they didn't actually LOSE the big 12 title game, they got around that by not winning their division in the first place (go buffs).

BC would be a slight favorite at Clemson at the moment in my opinion.

It shows how ridiculous the current concept of the "national" champion in college football can be.

I'll tell you who should be playing in the NC game at the end of the year: South Carolina and Notre Dame.

Hear me out. We are not supposed to vote for the team with the best record, but the best TEAMS. By the end of the year Notre Dame will clearly be one of the top two teams in the country. You just have to give Charlie Weis time to develop this team. Plus, you give them a month or so between the end of the season and a bowl game... they will be a powerhouse. You saw what they did against Pac10 elite UCLA! Expect them to go undefeated the rest of the year. Yes, they are that good.

South Carolina only has one loss, and that was a fluke upset to LSU in Tiger Stadium! They will run the table in the SEC, destroy Arkansas in the SEC championship game.

didn't the big11ten beat the SEC in 2 out of 3 bowl games?
Florida over tO$U
Wisconsin over Arkansas
Penn St over Tennessee

they did

[/ QUOTE ]

Your sample size is too small.

FWIW, we can look at a slightly larger sample and see that the Big 10 went 2-5 in bowl games last year, while the SEC went 6-3 (with two BIG BCS wins).
