The intro piece once again fails to take into account the fact that the entire Persian Gulf is covered by Iranian Anti_Ship Misslie batteries. Operating Combatant ships their whilst launching a strike of Iran would be, at a minimum, sheer stupidity.

Also, LOLERSKATES at subs prowling the coast of Iran during strikes. Have a look at the depths in the deepest parts of the Gulf let alone at the coastal depths.
