Re: HOH3 Problem 1
To order, easiest thing to do is to go to Two Plus Two home page and scroll down a bit.
Also, and this isn't directed just at you, the HOH3 discussion threads in this forum should be all about strategy. For general questions about the book you can usually find them or post in the Books and Publications forum. |

Re: HOH3 Problem 1
This is such an easy fold.
If it had been posted on the MTT-forum as a hand, there would be nothing else than folding-advice. |

Re: HOH3 Problem 1
this is a clear cut fold.
raising here is a leak. there's nothing to be accomplished by raising this junk early. |

you have ~150BB, and you want to raise w/ T8o why? value? bluff? half-retarded? [/ QUOTE ] Actually, everyone being deep in a tourney like the mill filled early with donkeys is a good argument in favor of limping or raising here. I don't do it much, but every once and awhile.... |

Re: HOH3 Problem 1
Anyone that does anything other than fold this hand is borderline retarded and I'd like to personally invite them over to play live in our home game.
Hand Sucks, Position Sucks. Stack Sucks. Info sucks. (It's early) why risk so much of your stack for a blind? Doing anything other than folding, is the height of stupidity. |

Re: HOH3 Problem 1
At first, I thought the answer (A) was so easy it had to be a trick question. But there is no trick. I have weak/no reads on the other players. If I raise (B) I'll most likely be OOP against player E or G (button). Until I get a read that these people love folding to c-bets, I'm not coming in for a raise here.
Of course, T8o is a very fun stacking hand. But unless I have any reason to believe that I can stack one of these people for 125bb, I'm not playing here. And if I do, I'd probably just call. If these people are capable of being stacked for such a huge amount, they'll get stacked wether the pot is 60 or 150 on the flop. |
