[ QUOTE ] Wow that's going to open a can of worms. The complaint to the officials for every non-reviewable play from now on, "But you did it for Cleveland!" [/ QUOTE ] IIRC they also did it for Jacksonville against Cleveland several years ago. [/ QUOTE ] afk to lob beer bottle at you. also, k2 is ok at football. |

[/ QUOTE ] Did they look at a replay? If all they did was look up the rules, they can do that anytime they are unsure of the rule. [/ QUOTE ] I only saw it on the Fox studio show, but yeah, they looked at the replay. The official said "We're going to take a further look." Then there's a 2-minute delay in addition to the 2-minute delay where they had already talked. Then Fox finally gets the picture of the ball going through. James Brown and the whole studio gives them kudos for going to the replay. Then the official says something like "After a long discussion..." BS, it wasn't the discussion, they had long since stopped discussing it. [/ QUOTE ] On the CBS postgame show, they just said that the league confirmed that this is reviewable. |

Studio show now says it is a reviewable play. [/ QUOTE ] Because it hit something it is reviewable says the NFL. Pretty stupid rule, youd think any kick would be reviewable no matter what the situation. |
