Re: Update for Tuq and Bison
[ QUOTE ]
well, obviously people have been cheated on view infidelity differently and are biased towards prosecuting. OTOH, people who are adulterers would be biased the other way. And the fact is, 2 people got prosecuted in 2007.....so it's somthing to think about. There's a BIG difference when people cheat with a single person or if neither cheater has kids....but when both cheaters are married and both have kids, there's a lot of harm done. [/ QUOTE ] Straight forward breach of contract. Not a criminal matter and it depends on what you and your sponse consider acceptable within your marriage. Criminalizing adultry would be really silly. |

[ QUOTE ]
I still think prosecuting adulterers is still not something to be laughed at....it destroys families. [/ QUOTE ] Adultery isn't the problem, it's a symptom of a bad marriage. [ QUOTE ] Read this: According to a poll of over 5,000 women on WomanSavers.com, over 52% said they believe adultery should be prosecuted in courts. In early 2007 an Arizona court prosecuted two married adulterers for the first time in over 30 years. Only time will tell whether other states will follow in these types of adultery prosecutions. [/ QUOTE ] Isn’t a prenup an easy solution to this? |

Re: Update for Tuq and Bison
slight change in topic.....
my bro told me that in the US, a lot of companies have strict policies against office affairs especially when it is a boss with a subordinate. So much so that when the employee is hired, they have to sign a contract of some sort that they are not to engage in such behavior and it is grounds for dismissal. Also, if they were fired from a job for adultery, they would have a hard time getting another job bc they are black listed and would not likely be able to get references. Is this true/? |

[ QUOTE ] took exception with the premise that infidelity is an addiction, [/ QUOTE ] Can someone be a sex addict, or not? Is that not the same thing, tuq? [/ QUOTE ] Well if she's a sex addict and married that doesn't necesarily mean she's addicted to infidelity. The fact that she engages in infidelity is simply a way that she attempts to fulfill her sex addiction, not a way to fulfill an addiction to infidelity. |

[ QUOTE ] Slim you sound a bit nervous concerning your ability to perform. I would buy a book off of Amazon or something that gives instructions on how to sex. Then watch some porn so you don't feel so uptight. then Bang. [/ QUOTE ] There is some truth to that. I guess that's how it is when u are 13 yrs older than a horny young flight attendant and u haven't had good sex in almost 2 decades and ur wife cheated on u. All that....and I'm about as goody goody as they come. Never in a million years did I imagine being in this situation. [/ QUOTE ] This is why she wants you. You have stumbled into a situation where the truth will help you. |

The facts seem to suggest that you're in your late 30s at a minimum, but your disposition suggests that you're 12. Some offices have rules against dating/sexing co-workers. This has absolutely nothing to do with adultery. Whether or not the fling is adulterous has zero bearing on these situations. |
