5-10 rule. I'm sure it's in the stickies -- and yes, much talked about and modified.

I think what almost everyone is missing about hand 1 is that we're in this pot with 2 other big stacks, not just one.

The problem imo is that they're both going to be cold-callers. The button especially, if he comes along, is very likely to have another implied odds hand. Since you've got the lowest possible pocket pair, I think it's almost fair to say that you're actually in a reverse implied odds situation against him. And he's the only other player with a stack deeper than 100bb. BB is not in quite the same position, but he surely would have shoved most of the hands that you could count upon him to pay you off with if you hit your set.

1: $16.50 to $6.50 immediate odds. We need to win about $40 more on average when we hit a set just to break even. The betting is not closed. Fold.

2: $34.10 to win $71.35 or about 2:1... We have 6 straight outs if we discount the hearts. We have 5 more (4&5) if villain has an overpair. We need 8 good outs, so it's a call.

3: 1.75 : 1. We don't draw to the nut flush. I fold.

4: fold

5: call

Hand 1)I might be way off on the math here(first time trying this)

I figure that the BTN will call the $6.5 70%, fold 25% and re raise .05% (when re raised we lose $8.5)

pot before flop and W/O heros call
17+2+(.7 x $8.5 + .25 x $2)= $25.5

(I think that if hero hits his set he is getting all in with another player especially at .50BB game) (someone most likely has AK will get stacked if A or K hits and if it doesn't someone will pay off with a overair)
(10% wins with set 2% gets a cooler)

10% = + $25.5 and + $60 = + $8.55
2% = - $8.5 and - $50 = - $.60
88% = - $8.5 = - 7.50

call = + $.45
maybe i am being a little too optimistic in my calculations also

I am just doing this to see where im at, this most likely has some huge errors
