So who's the next coach? I will say I'd love to see Rick Neiuheisel (mispelled)

What do you guys think?

Mooch is much more likely to return to college would be my guess. Plus, he loves being an announcer.

I'm a little surprised. I figured Arizona, being Arizona, wouldn't want to eat the last year of Green's contract.

with the success of Mangini/ Payton/ Linehan, I think you're gonna see a trend of teams hiring young pro coordinators.

By the middle of the 8 game losing streak, everyone expected he would be fired. This was supposed to be a turnaround year for them, and it wasn't. Green completely mismanged the offensive line. He deserved to be fired.

I think he's a horrible coach and a lousy human being. Anyone but slick Rick.

I think the Cards need to start with the GM position. They gave Green too much power, and he didn't perform. They need to do a better job managing player acquisition ($35M for Edge? When you have the worst offensive line in the league?) and need a strong GM who won't let the coach

- cut his best lineman in his first off season.
- replace an offensive line coach with a recently retired player who needed on the job training.
- misdeploy his best remaining lineman as a tackle simply because "he makes too much money to play guard"
- fire his offensive coordinator mid season (after taking over play calling to screw up the 2nd half of the bears game) then screw up the offense for the next three critical games.
- screw up every single challenge and time out call all season long.
- Switch quarterbacks seemingly at a whim, two years ago he replaced his starter after he won 3/4 and let Shaun King lose three in a row and drop the team out of playoff contention.

Michael Bidwell supposedly has lost a ton of power influence within the organization due to the Green fiasco and other screwups.

Bidwell Sr is reportedly really really likes Norm Chow.

I'd like to see them make a hard play for Carroll even if it is a massive long shot. I'd be happy with Chow as headcoach.

A GM can't control a coach in that way without firing him.
The Cards extended Graves contract for 3 years which isn't terrible given he's been pretty solid in terms fo draft and signing free agents.

Ron Rivera-Chi D Cord

Norm Chow-Tenn O Cord

Mike Sherman-former Packers coach

Jim Caldwell-Indy QB/asst Head caoch

already scheduled to interview.

The Leonard Davis to LT was a historic screwup by Green.
Not only was he a far far better guard, but now he will get a huge contract given the lack of tackles on the market and the Cards will be forced to let him go.
