humber, pelfrey, gomez, and gotay

I don't think I'd do this deal for 1 year of Santana. He'd have to sign an extension for me to give up Humber. Now take out Humber and Gomez, put in Guerra and Mulvy, then I would do it in a heartbeat.

[/ QUOTE ]

i dont think mets are getting him without giving him an extension .. so my offer was assuming 7 year 120 mil extension

[/ QUOTE ]

If thats the case, GO GO GO GO. Just start getting Mulvy ready for when El Duque dies of natural causes in June.

I could see the White Sox offering a package of Josh Fields, Jermaine Dye and a prospect.

yeah 7/150 is probably the absolute low end, it could easily get near 200

I can save time because Florida never offers to get established players.

I don't think I would trade Hanley for him straight up though. Or Cabrera.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think I'd trade Hanley for any single MLB player/pitcher right now.

The Sox can put together a good package (I suggested one) that doesn't include Buccholtz, who (too add a little reality) is still just a prospect who hasn't done anything Wilson Alvarez didnt do.

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't know Buchholz pitched 15 years of solid-to-good baseball.

Astros give:

Carlos Lee and Hunter Pence

Twins give:

Santana

--Obv I would cry and never watch Astros baseball again but hey we got Santana!

As much as I'd love to see it, there's no way the Twins take it.
