Anybody play The Big Lebowski Drinking game?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've played "Dude" with my friends.

Each person gets a word and then has to take a drink whenever that word is spoken.

Words to choose from: Dude, man, Lebowski, Walter, Donny

Do NOT choose the F-word unless you want to be puking before the movie is 30 minutes in.

I recently used a Lebowski line in an ATF thread that threw off both Blarg and pryor, both are huge film junkies so I was fairly surprised. Link.

Maybe the best comedy ever.
Brilliant writing.
One of the first movies I ever saw where I thought the dialogue was almost perfect.
The performances are amazing; Goodman is ridiculously awesome in this.

Yeah, it's crazy how rewatchable this is. I think I've seen it around 6 times but haven't in over a year and I am now dying to watch it.

"I don't pick up the phone, I don't turn on the oven, and I sure as [censored], DON'T [censored] ROLL! Shomer shabbos!"

edit: I see drewdevil beat me to it, the pure vitriol is just awesome

"How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm once they've seen Karl Hungus."

One can work this into everyday conversation more than you'd think.

I've permanently incorporated "Ladyfriend" into my general vocabulary. It's surprisingly flirtatious without being overt about it, like if you called them "honey" or some such.

I do this too. Touch of Lebowski class.

yeah I never got with the Lebowski thing. Even the beloved lines repeated here don't seem very funny to me. Oh well.

The local art multiplex in Atlanta showed The Big Lebowski on The Big Screen last weekend on Friday & Saturday midnight. It was a blast, partly because I'd never seen the movie besides DVD, and also because every single member of the audience was a Lebowski fan.

This weekend they're showing Tron.
