I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet.
A piece of toast is buttered. It is common knowledge that if dropped, it will always land buttered side down. We have a cat. It is common knowledge that if dropped in any fashion, it'll land right side up (on its feet). Strap the toast to the back of the cat. What happens: A. Toast hits buttered side down B. Cat lands right side up C. A spinning levitating cat/toast thing occurs |

It should be the average net force on the dog is 400 N during the deceleration. In real Jello, the force applied on the dog will not be constant because the force will decrease as the dog slows down.
Also, I thought the "easy" part would be that since the dog is at rest, the total force is 0 N and so the total Jello Force = weight of dog = 200 N. |

A refrigerator is brought into an airtight room. The fridge is then plugged in, and run with the door of the fridge open. This will make the room : A) Hotter B) Colder C) No change in room temp. |

A giant solid disk is spun very very fast. It has radial lines painted on it like spokes. Assuming the disk does not break apart, what would an observer (using a high-speed stobe) see from above as the outer edge approaches the speed of light?
a) The outer edge will appear to move faster than the inner disk, causing the lines to curve toward the direction of rotation. b) The outer edge will appear to move slower than the inner disk, causing the lines to curve away from the direction of rotation. c) The lines will remain straight. d) Something else? |
